You will be listened to and understood here, and I don’t have to rush through your appointment. What you should know about working with me is that this is a joint effort.

CLIENT-CENTERED APPROACH

Since not every person nor disease is the same, a customized program is developed to assist in your goals because I focus on individual needs and work with your doctor to collaborate.

AN EVIDENCE-BASED APPROACH

The word health refers to a state of complete emotional and physical well-being. I focus on gut health, mental health, and metabolism to achieve sustainable optimal health.

Gut Health Affects

Mental Health And Your Metabolism

Your body contains trillions of bacteria that influence your health in many ways. Emerging science suggests a surprisingly significant gut-brain connection; it increasingly appears that the gastrointestinal system has quite a bit of influence over how you feel, think, and react. This affects your emotions, stress, sleep, and eating habits. Your gut bacteria can affect how your food is digested, how fat is stored, and whether you feel hungry or full. Thus fostering a healthy gastrointestinal ecosystem through proper diet and exercise is essential to boost your metabolism and improve mental health to achieve a sustainable healthy outcome.

Mental Health And Your Metabolism

When you’re under stress, whether physical or emotional, your body reacts by releasing several hormones. The stress may initially increase your body’s calorie-burning furnace, and the loss of muscle – one way your body burns calories – may ultimately cause an overall decrease in your metabolism. Stress-related weight gain can be due to low physical activity and increased caloric intake. I help you learn techniques for regular sleep, moderate exercise (that you enjoy!), and proactive stress management.

I believe in working together to find an individual and realistic approach to nutrition that fits within your lifestyle, schedule, and goals. Let’s work together to make your nutrition habits feel sustainable and second nature rather than like an endless battle. Let me help you increase your energy, eat mindfully, reduce sugar cravings, improve your relationship with food, learn quick and easy snacks and meals for your busy lifestyle, improve your gut health, reduce stress, and boost your metabolism.
I’m looking forward to helping you to be your happiest and healthiest self!
